The documentary, "Accidental Icon: The Real Gidget Story" is the untold story of the real “Gidget,” Kathy Kohner Zuckerman, and her account of surfing Malibu in the mid-50’s.  Her story became the basis for a best-selling novel, an enduring Hollywood movie/TV franchise and a slice of Americana, impacting both popular culture and the sport of surfing.

Meet and mingle with the film director, Brian Gillogly and the real Gidget herself.
